Hair Keratin Treatment in Dubai

A properly done keratin treatment at Matryoshka lasts 3 to 4 months — sometimes longer depending on how often you wash your hair and which shampoo you use. The treatment infuses keratin protein into the hair shaft, sealing the cuticle. Hair stays smooth, frizz-free and shiny until the keratin gradually washes out.

Pricing depends on hair length: Roots only (up to 8 cm) — 400 AED. Short hair (up to 40 cm) — 500 AED. Medium hair (40–50 cm) — 550 AED. Long hair (50–65 cm) — 650 AED. Extra long hair (65–80 cm) — 750 AED. Price includes the wash, treatment, sealing, and finishing blow-dry. The appointment takes 3 hours.

Plan for 3 hours from start to finish: 30 minutes for clarifying wash and prep, 60 minutes for the keratin application, 30 minutes for the heat sealing with flat iron, and 60 minutes for the rinse and finish blow-dry. Bring something to read or your laptop — we have wifi and complimentary tea or coffee.

Yes, and in fact it is often more beneficial for coloured or bleached hair than untreated hair. The protein restores some of the structural integrity lost during chemical processing. We use formaldehyde-free formulas only, suitable for sensitive scalps. If you have done a major chemical service in the last 2 weeks (perm, relaxer, bleach lift) we recommend waiting before keratin.

For 72 hours: do not wash the hair, do not tie it back, do not tuck it behind your ears, avoid clips and hairbands. After 72 hours wash with a sulfate-free, sodium-chloride-free shampoo only — we sell a recommended bottle for 80 AED at the salon. Avoid sea water and chlorinated pools for the first week. Heat tools are fine.

Both treatments seal the hair cuticle and reduce frizz. Keratin treatment uses keratin protein and lasts 3–4 months. Nanoplastia uses lower-temperature application and amino acid complexes, claiming a more gradual, natural-looking smoothing.
