How we work
Every set, every time
Consultation
We assess your natural lash length and thickness, listen to the look you want, and recommend the right curl (C, D, L, M) and length (8–14 mm) for your eye shape. We always err on the side of natural and proportionate — never overweight your lashes.
Isolated application
Lower lashes are taped down with gentle hypoallergenic pads. Each upper natural lash is isolated with tweezers before the extension is bonded — this is what prevents stickies and protects your natural lash growth.
Medical-grade adhesive
We use low-fume, water-resistant adhesives certified for sensitive eyes. The bond cures fully within 24 hours, after which you can wash your face normally.
Aftercare
You leave with a small spoolie brush and a printed aftercare card. Avoid water and steam for the first 24 hours, sleep on your back if possible, and skip oil-based products around the eye area.

Common questions
How long do eyelash extensions last?
Properly applied eyelash extensions at Matryoshka last 3–4 weeks before a refill is needed. Each lash is bonded individually to your natural lash with medical-grade adhesive, and your lashes shed naturally on a 60-day cycle — so the set thins gradually rather than falling off all at once. Most clients book a refill every 2–3 weeks to keep the look full.
How much do eyelash extensions cost?
Classic and volume eyelash extensions are 150 AED for a full set. Mega Volume (the densest, most dramatic look) is 250 AED. A refill (eyelash correction at 2–3 weeks) is 75–150 AED depending on how many lashes need replacing. Removal is 25 AED. The 6-Hand Combo Package (manicure + pedicure + eyelash extension done simultaneously) is 350 AED — the best value if you want everything in one visit.
What is the difference between classic, volume and mega volume?
Classic is one extension per natural lash — soft, natural-looking and lightweight. Volume uses fans of 2–5 thin extensions per natural lash for a fluffier, fuller look without weight. Mega Volume goes to 6–12 ultra-thin extensions per natural lash — the dramatic, dense, makeup-on look popular for events and photoshoots. All three are safe when applied by a trained technician, which all our masters are.
Will extensions damage my natural lashes?
No, when applied correctly. We isolate each natural lash before bonding to prevent stickies (extensions glued to multiple lashes, which is what damages the natural lash). We use weight-appropriate extensions for your natural lash thickness — never overweighting. Most damage from extensions comes from poor application or peeling them off at home. Always come back for professional removal (25 AED).
How long does the appointment take?
A full classic or volume set takes 2 hours. Mega Volume takes 2.5 hours. You lie down with eyes closed — perfect time for a nap. Refills take 60 minutes. Removal takes 30 minutes.
Can I wear makeup with extensions?
Yes, but skip oil-based products (oil dissolves the adhesive). Use a water-based eye makeup remover and avoid mascara — extensions already give you the mascara effect. Don't use eyelash curlers, and brush lashes gently every morning with the small spoolie we give you.
Do you accept walk-ins?
Yes, daily 10:00–24:00. Lash extensions are appointment-recommended because of the 2-hour application time, but message us on WhatsApp 30 minutes ahead and we will fit you in whenever possible.
What languages does the team speak?
Russian, English, Arabic, with some staff speaking Ukrainian and Tagalog. Bring a reference photo if you have a specific lash style in mind.
